Exhibitors from the world's top countries, such as the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States, have proven MIDO's international reach before, and the Asian companies that returned to the show this year have also received excellent responses. Giovanni Vitaloni, President said: "Last May, when we closed the doors of MIDO2022, we resolved to recall Asian exhibitors, and despite the difficult international situation, we are achieving our goal, which is another sign of the international appeal of the Milano Optical Fair. ”

Exhibitors from Wenzhou

In this exhibition, a total of more than 200 exhibitors from China went to Milan to participate in the exhibition, which is a significant increase compared with 2022 and is about 4 times the total number of exhibitors last year. Among them, Wenzhou optical companies account for the majority.

On February 2, under the arrangement of the Wenzhou government, more than 170 Wenzhou optical companies organized a charter flight to Milan to attend the MIDO exhibition after three years of absence.

The number of exhibitors of the Wenzhou delegation is about 360, and the exhibition area is 8,000 square meters, which is about 80% of the MIDO Asia Pavilion, ranking first in the world.

As one of the exhibitors this year, Wenzhou Lanxess International Trade Co., Ltd. started preparations as early as September last year. Before departure, it has invited more than 30 merchants in advance, and there are many new customers. Aiming at the slowing down of consumption in Europe, the company optimized the product structure and carefully selected more than 600 cheap and high-quality products to appear at the exhibition. The participation in this exhibition brought back nearly 1 million US dollars of intentional orders, which will add good news to the second quarter.

Xu Chengsong, the person in charge of Boguan Exhibition, who is responsible for leading the team and logistics, said that during the three days of exhibition, every company was racing against time and on-site buyers to fight for more orders, and everyone was tired to sleep on the bus back to the hotel after the exhibition. He is pleased that everyone generally reflects that the flow of people at the MIDO exhibition is very large, and the buyers' willingness to buy is also quite high.

With the end of the epidemic, overseas exchanges have finally ushered in normalization. At the beginning of this year, the Munich Exhibition in Germany and the Milan Exhibition in Italy came to an end, and I believe that more domestic enterprises are also fully prepared to go to a new round of competition and exchanges in 2023, which is fully liberalized.
